Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Yoga Instructor to join our team, initially as a "sub" contractor with potential to gain permanent classes on the schedule. As a Yoga Instructor, you will plan and lead classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels are able to safely participate. Your goal is to help clients reach their health and wellness objectives and have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for yoga and an aptitude for introducing fun and innovative concepts to our yoga schedule.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies
Conduct group yoga classes for all skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners.
- Develop and implement class plans that align with the spa's wellness philosophy and goals.
- Provide individualized instruction and modifications to accommodate students' physical abilities and limitations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive class environment that encourages participation and personal growth.
- Collaborate with spa staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is a must
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200 or higher preferred).
- 2 years of teaching experience in a yoga studio or similar setting preferred.
Proficient in various yoga styles (e.g., Vinyasa, Deep Stretch, Restorative, Beginners).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
Passion for health, wellness, and holistic living.
